Webb, 1817-1846; business and personal letters from Amelia Webb, Catherine Cogswell, Lucy Ann Swetland, H.W. Palmer, Lavinia Morgan, Henry Chester, Alfred Douglas, and H.G. Ludlow, 1830-1846; letters written by Webb and his wife Frances H. Delord Webb during their wedding trip to Europe to attend to her inheritance from French relatives, and Henry's journal, 1832-1833; legal and financial papers, 1830-1846; and condolence letters on the occasion of Henry's death in 1846, his estate papers, 1846-1891, and a poem by L.H. Sigourney, 1848. Papers of John H. Webb, Albany merchant, include ledger sheets, deeds, correspondence, agreements, inventories, and estate papers, 1815-1856.
